Sweet Tooth Hotel collaboration with Lights All Night

The second installation of Sweet Tooth Hotel will be coming to a close soon, but not before we give you a preview of what to expect this summer! Sweet Tooth Hotel will be partnering with Dallas’s longest-running-end-of-year music festival; Lights All Night on December 28th and 29th. This partnership will give festival attendees an immersive visual art experience allowing them to interact with Sweet Tooth Hotel exhibits curated in the form of a 14,000 sq. ft. lounge.

We will be bringing our signature art and immersive experience curation to Lights All Night. This will be an all new installation woven through a combination of projection and digital art by pixel lab, and an immersive flower tree installation in collaboration with Shamsy Roomiani.

Roomiani is a native Texas visual artist who relishes her time spent outdoors amongst the natural world. She works in various art forms such as printmaking, drawing, sculpture, and installation art. Pixel Lab is a mixed reality studio that focuses on large-scale new media productions; specializing in performative technologies such as, projection mapping, interactive audio-video installations, and AR/VR experiences.

Lights All Night includes some of the worlds most sought after electronic dance and hip hop music acts such as, Diplo, Gucci Mane, Rezz, Kaskade, DJ Tiesto and Excision just to name a few.

In total, more than 40 music acts from across Texas and around the globe are set to perform at this years ninth annual event. The full lineup broken down by day is listed online at www.lightsallnight.com. This two-day event will take place in Dallas Market Hall, which will include four stages and a silent disco. This year Lights All Night will be a little different from its previous years including more onsite art installations and roaming performers, with a fest-wide scavenger hunt from Sweet Tooth Hotel.

The Sweet Tooth Hotel Lounge will be accessible to all attendees but depending on your ticket determines your fun! The General Admission lounge will include all new art, and will even preview some of the new activation's for the 2019 exhibit. If attendees watch the animations closely they’ll see lots of clues about what’s to come! The concept will be announced in January and sneak peeks will be featured on the @sweettoothhotel Instagram account during the festival.

This installation Jencey Keeton, Noel Rodriguez, and Devin Liebs will be in collaboration with Eric Trich and Taylor Cleveland of pixel lab and artist Shamsy Roomiani. Together they plan to create a luminous garden filled with looming worldly trees, wall to wall pink and rainbow gradient projections, animated cherry blossom flowers sweeping through the metamorphosis into diamonds and levitating heart swings. Previews will be featured on @buildsweettoothhotel.

Although all festival attendees will get the chance to experience this electrifying installation, VIP guests will get a chance to explore a few older art exhibits from the summer ‘18 chapter one installation.

Feeling nostalgic? Yeah, so are we!
